PAD Paris : The unmissable event for design collectors

After a three-year hiatus, PAD Paris returns to the Tuileries. The leading and unmissable event for international design collectors held in Paris, between April 5th and 10th 2022, is bringing together 69 of the very best national and international galleries of decorative arts, as well as historical, modern and contemporary design to create an exceptional journey.

OITOEMPONTO Interior designers

Artur Miranda and Jacques Bec

For this 24th edition, the decor of the Studio PAD, which materialises the entrance of the show, is entrusted to the talented Franco-Portuguese decorators Artur Miranda and Jacques Bec, alias Oitoemponto. The interior design duo, adept at creating lavish and daring environments, have created a glamorous living room with rounded walls and immaculate white carpeting. Harvey Probber’s sofa, Pierre Paulin’s banquette, Paul Rudolph’s chair and Paul Tuttle’s chair plunge us into a black and white decor. This slightly old-fashioned atmosphere, enhanced by subdued lighting, revives an ambiance worthy of the French films of the 70’s and brings the home bar up to date. Plants and rosewood from Rio will finally reflect the Brazilian exuberance of those years as an invitation to travel. A delicate, joyful and chic atmosphere, in the image of its two creators.
